| Cheyenne is located in the southeast corner of Wyoming. It's the state capital situated east of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, and just 90 minutes north of Denver, Colorado. Cheyenne's population is about 53,000 people, and the elevation is about 6,100 feet. The air is the cleanest in the United States, the cost of living is very low, and housing is plentiful and affordable. We have over 600 acres of parks and 15 miles of Greenway, plus close access to fishing, skiing, camping, etc. - In May 2005, Primacy Relocation and World ERC ranked Cheyenne second in the nation for relocation destinations of cities between 50,000 and 250,000 population. - In September 2004, the Employment Relocation Council named Cheyenne one of the Top 10 small market cities for relocating families. - Kiplinger magazine reported in its July 2004 issue that Cheyenne is the least-taxed city in the nation! - Expansion Management magazine recently gave Cheyenne a five-star quality-of-life rating. - Wyoming has no state income tax. - Our Cost of Living Index is 6% below the national Consumer Price Index. |
