What Will My Child Learn in Children’s Ministry?
Every Sunday morning your child will receive a solid, Bible based lesson. The lessons come from the Gospel Story Bible Curriculum which takes children through the Bible with age appropriate activities. Sunday mornings also have Christ-centered, kid-friendly worship and prayer.
On Wednesday nights we use the Calvary Chapel Curriculum that takes kids verse by verse through the Bible. On these nights we join with the adults for our worship time.
We have our Calvary Knight Program Program that kids can participate in. This is a Bible skills incentive program based on the Armor of God (Epheisans 6:10-18) and is designed to help parents equip their children to:
- Be familiar with basic Christian doctrine (Belt of Truth)
- Live a godly life by the power of the Spirit (Breastplate of Righteousness)
- Be ready to trust, serve, and obey the Lord (Shoes of Readiness)
- Have an unshakable faith in the Word of God (Shield of Faith)
- Accept and share the Gospel message (Helmet of Salvation)
- Know the Bible and how to use the Bible (Sword of the Spirit/Word of God)
We also have Prayer Sundays with our Prayer Force. Prayer Sunday happens the first Sunday of the month where kids will focus on prayer in a different and fun way. On these Sundays our Prayer Force (an adult led team of junior helpers) will come by and pray for kids one on one and write down prayer requests, to help kids see how prayers are answered.
Nursery & Toddlers
Offered during each church service, both Sundays and Wednesdays, the Nursery and Toddlers ministry seeks to provide parents the opportunity to worship and listen to the teaching without the distraction of caring for their babies or toddlers.
