Anna Davis, a native of Cheyenne, serves as a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) developing curriculum and a Bible training program for the Discipleship Bible School, as well as training, discipling, and mentoring youth and adults throughout the world.
Biblical Concepts in Counseling of Wyoming (BCCWY) was founded by Charlie & Donna Reed in 2005 upon their completion of the counseling and counselor training through Biblical Concepts in Counseling in Colorado Springs. The mission of BCCWY is to bring couples and individuals to freedom in Christ by identifying and resolving spiritual and emotional problems in order to fulfill God’s plan for their lives.
Calvary Chapel Kennett was founded in 2007 by Pastor Brian Shearer and his wife, Tami. Calvary Chapel Kennett is a growing congregation seeking to know God and to be conformed to His image through the
Holy Spirit. Located in the poorest and most drug-infested area in the state of Missouri, Calvary Chapel Kennett desires to be a powerful witness, a light, and that the people in the Kennett community will come to know the power of God’s deliverance.
Camps International, along with it’s sub-groups -RYCCA, Los Domos, and others, are served by full-time missionaries David & Karen Caldwell in central Mexico to develop Christian Youth Camps. Camps International works to start camps, train locals for camp counselors, and host camps. Christian, counselor-centered, autonomous camps that use a small-group ministry focus before, during and after the camp event are the mission of Camps International.
Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of WY, SE Chapter is directed by Dwayne & Korinne Bazinet. CEF works to share the Gospel with boys and girls, disciple them in the Word of God and establish them in a local Bible-believing church by facilitating Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs, Vacation Bible School, Camp Good News and Christian Youth In Action. The vision of CEF is to guide a new generation that seeks to honor God.
Laramie County Fellowship of Christian Athletes has Cody and Leigh Anne Bordewyk as its area representatives.The official vision statement is, “To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.” Their primary focus is on their school groups, called “huddles” where students meet for Bible study, prayer, encouragement and fellowship, meeting 2-4 times a month, and are led by students and teachers/coaches from the schools. A new campus FCA group was started last spring at LCCC. Every summer they have a sports camp as well as a few other sports-focused outreach events through the year.
Harriman Chapel, an outreach of Calvary Chapel Cheyenne, is pastored by Jim Kuhns and his wife, Donna. Harriman Chapel carries on the call to missions by ministering to the community of Harriman and surrounding area, and by actively supporting missionaries David & Karen Caldwell of Camps International, Compassion International, Voice of the Martyrs, and Clair & Ging Hoover in the Philippines.
LifeChoice Pregnancy Care Center provides pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasounds and peer counseling along with moral support and spiritual encouragement free of charge, and strictly confidential, to women and families dealing with unintended pregnancies. A non-profit medical center, LifeChoice Pregnancy Care Center exists to honor Jesus Christ by eliminating the perceived need for abortion and empowering a woman in her right to choose life.
One-Way Evangelistic Ministries, is located here in Cheyenne with full time missionaries, Jerry and Kathy Singh. They work to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through short and long-term international missions, short and long-term local ministries, itinerant speaking, and steel-pan evangelistic outreaches.
